St. Charles CC commit, currently ranked No. 53 in Illinois. Spark plug type player; highly athletic with a 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame. Defensively impressed behind the plate with an extremely strong arm and steady hands; arm plays with backspin through second base, recording as low as 2.08 on his pop-times from his knees - also delivering accurate throws on the bag. Offensively, Huebner hit in the three-hole for Edwardsville and finished 2-4 on the two with a single and a double, both hard-hit. He moves with a fluid pre-pitch rhythm, starting slightly open and working back to the plate with his stride; quick/twitchy hands to the ball that play flat through the zone.

St. Charles CC commit, currently ranked No. 53 in Illinois’ 2022 class. Took a break from catching to show off his strong arm on the mound. Huebner’s arm plays quick to release from an over the top slot, also moving athletically down the mound while working exclusively from the stretch. His fastball sat at 86 mph throughout the entirety of his inning of work, playing with finish through the zone. He then went to a sharp slider at 77-79 mph, playing off a shorter 10/4 plane with fastball intent. Huebner’s inning of work was a dominant one; striking out the side in order.

He is ultra-confident in his arm, throwing behind runners, showing it off frequently and looking to steal outs anyway he can. Offensively, Huebner hit in the three-hole for Edwardsville and finished 2-4 on the day with a single and a double, both hard-hit. He moves with a fluid pre-pitch rhythm, starting slightly open and working back to the plate with his stride; quick/twitchy hands to the ball that play flat through the zone.

Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 49 in Illinois. Was a part of Team Illinois at the 2020 Future Games. 5-foot-11, 165-pound, wiry, athletic, right-handed hitting versatile, athletic prospect. Impressed all over the field throughout the two games. Offensively, the right-handed hitter, has quick twitchy hands and stays flat through the zone. Has the ability to backspin the baseball to the pull-side of the diamond and gets advanced jump off the barrel when he syncs up his swing. Hit a line-drive, backspin missile that left the yard in a hurry for a home run to left-center field. Finished the day 3-for-7 with a home run, two doubles, two RBIs, two runs scored and a walk. Looks natural in the outfield but also has the athleticism to move behind the plate and catch. Currently not a refined receiver and blocker but impacts the game with his bounce and strong arm behind the plate. Consistently looks to throw behind runners, ultra-confident in his arm which plays true and with carry. High-follow uncommitted 2022 prospect.

2/19/18 - Huebner is a 5-foot-8 131-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Illinois’ 2022 class.  He ran a 4.28 home to first and has an 80 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts in a open and thin stance, quiet hands with minimal load and little wasted movement, in line stride, hands work inside the ball, gap to gap approach. In the outfield, quick to the ball with quick transfer and throw, high three quarters arm slot, 81 mph positional velocity.
