2.15.15 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound lanky and athletic right-handed pitcher works from a short, quick, loose, high ¾ arm slot, regular effort, tall/fall delivery, some rhythm, lands in line with home plate. Fastball sat 83-85 mph thrown for strikes. 74-76 mph flashed 11/5 shape, 76-78 mph changeup displayed fading action. Powell has reportedly touched the upper 80’s as recently as this fall, and is a high follow prospect in the 2016 class who will enter the overall rankings shortly.
