6/19/14 - 5-foot-9, 170-pound outfielder, short athletic build. Good runner, 6.94 60. Offensively hits from an open stance, short stride, maintains good balance throughout, long high finish. Hands are loose and athletic at the plate, above average bat speed, fluid rhythm and timing. 86 mph exit velocity form the tee. Defensively showed advanced actions, longer arm action, over the top slot, showed accuracy with average arm strength (80 mph). Feet work well, plays through the baseball, occasionally worked uphill.

2/16/14 5-foot-9 170-pound athletic body outfielder with advanced foot speed. Ran a 6.95 60. Defensively, his quick feet translate well as he takes direct routes to the ball. Arm works from over the top at 77 mph with strong accuracy and solid carry. At the plate hits from an open stance, smooth loading action, short stride, and balanced through contact. Swing is fluid and explosive with quality extension, solid barrel whip, and creates some thump. Exit velocity off the tee was 78 mph.

6.13.13 - Smaller build with athleticism, 5-foot-9, 160-pound outfielder. Defensively showed advanced actions, has natural instincts for the position, projects well as an outfielder. Advanced footwork, 6.94 runner, quick and fluid, plays through the baseball well, shows a tendency to work uphill out of his crow hop. Arm action is long, over the top slot, traditional outfield arm action, 76 mph from the outfield. Offensively hits from an open stance, shows above average bat speed, 86 mpg exit velocity from the tee. Bat path is short with a line drive, gap to gap approach, good balance throughout.

1/20/13 - Athletic 5-foot-9, 160-pound right handed outfielder. Defensively shows quick footwork (6.89 60), loose arm, over the top slot, 75 mph. Extremely efficient transfer from glove to release, aggressive attacking baseball, quick release, gets downhill. Offensively hits out of slightly open stance, athletic setup, smooth load, some rhythm, above-average bat speed, flashed occasional pop.

10/28/12 - Giltz is an athletic outfielder with a well-rounded game. Standing 5-foot-8, 157-pounds, Giltz showed aggressive outfield actions, playing through the baseball well and exhibiting 78 mph arm strength with some carry. He proved to have natural outfield instincts and fluid footwork, he also ran a 7.03 60. Offensively, he hit from a balanced setup with an open stance. He hits with a slight leg kick and showed barrel awareness, making solid contact throughout his round. Giltz looks to be one of the more athletic natural outfielders in his class.
