2/10/19 - 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed pitcher, lanky, long levered frame, lean build. Athletic delivery, loose actions, smooth down the hill, high front side. Arm action is long and loose, live arm, high ¾ slot, easy effort. Fastball runs late in the zone, showed above average feel, sat 84-85 mph, topped at 86 mph. Slider is firm, tight 11/5 shape, 77-78 mph. Changeup sinks, fastball similar arm action, controlled the zone well, 76-77 mph. Curveball worked 70-73 mph, similar shape to slider.
2.18.18 - 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed pitcher, long projectable frame, long legs, high upside pitcher. Confident presence on the mound, composed. Balanced and athletic delivery, works downhill on a line, high front side, little effort. Clean upside arm action, long loose and live, easy plus arm speed for age. Fastball is live through the zone with hard arm side run, showed ability to command, 83-84 mph, touched 85 mph. Curveball plays on 11/5 plane, sharp action, thrown with confidence, 69-72 mph. Changeup has feel, loose fastball arm action, repeats it with confidence, 76-78 mph. High ceiling follow in the 2020 class.
1.27.18 - 6-foot-3, 185-pound two-way prospect with strong, athletic frame. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, high ¾ slot, long arm action. Drop-and-drive delivery, throws on line, slightly closed landing. Fastball, occasional run, 80-81 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed, 73-75 mph. Slider, 11/5 shape, some feel, sat 68-70 mph. 7.24 runner in the 60, laser-timed. At the plate, right-handed hitter, tall setup into toe-tap stride. Long, uphill bat path, occasional hard contact; 87 mph exit velocity from tee. On the infield throws from a ¾ slot; clocked at 78 mph across the diamond.
