Positional Profile: RHP; A top-ranked uncommitted player who pitched well all summer.
Body: 6-0, 170-pounds. Wiry, long levers; athleticism.
Delivery: Staggered start from the left edge of the rubber; slow tempo side step and rock into high knee and hip turn, tuck/coil at balance point. Drops and drives down mound on line, shoulders level and slightly closed, lands softly in an athletic/controlled finish.
Arm Action: RH. Long, loose arm swing to clean high 3/4 slot.
FB: T87, 86-87 mph. Easy feel from a lower release height; generates big horizontal action. He averaged an event-high 17.0 inches of movement, per TrackMan.
CB: 71-71 mph. Some sweep, 10/4 shape; flashed some sharpness.
CH: 73-76 mph. Demonstrates some command for it, thrown at arm speed; some fade/run action.
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-foot, 170-pounds. Wiry, live body frame.
Delivery: Slight drop and drive delivery, gets into tucked balance position, lands square with close front toe, stays balanced through release, recoil finish at times.
Arm Action: RH. Loose arm, works out of 3/4 slot.
FB: T85, 83-85 mph. Occasional late running action.
CB: 68-70 mph. 11/5 shape, gradual action that sweeps across the zone at times, thrown with arm speed and for strikes.
CH: 73-76 mph. Near fastball arm speed, flashed sink and fade.
