One of the top unsigned seniors in the state of IL, ranked No. 43 in his class. 5-foot-11, 170-pound two-way player, chiseled and athletic frame. Played right field and hit third for the Tigers. Had two QAB’s finishing 2-for-4 with two 2Bs, two RBI and a run scored. Sat dead red on the heater and drove his two doubles to the left center gap, also made an out deep to right showing a gap-to-gap approach going with the pitch. Sets up open, short leg lift stride to even, bar load, maintains balance throughout. Path is direct and short, some bat strength and twitch in hands, athletic ability. Saw three balls on defense making plays in stride and in-rhythm, tracking skills are there. Arm grade is above average from the outfield, comes out easy and true. Translates to the mound as we’ve had him up to 92 mph in July last year. Super athletic prospect with upside two-way ability.
7/10/18 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound, quick-twitch, well-proportioned, right-handed pitcher. Rocker-step, linear delivery, lands slightly front-toe closed. Arm is clean and extremely quick from an over the top slot. Fastball jumps out of the hand and is lively through the hitting zone.
