Power: 94 mph exit velocity from the tee. Above average power, ball jumped off the bat to pull side at times, attacks the baseball.
Arm: RH. C - 77 mph. Short arm action, over the top slot.
Defense: 2.11-2.19 pop times. Short footwork, deliberate out of the crouch, clean exchange.Solid receiver, sets up square with low target, soft hands, stays quiet.
Run: 7.03 runner in the 60. Long strided runner, above average.
Started for Naperville Renegades in their 15-1 win over STARTERS 17U. Petsche featured a fastball that ran up to 84 mph and primarily sat between 81-83 mph with life, while showing the ability to throw it on either side of the plate. His best overall offering was a breaking ball that sat between 71-73 mph with real swing-and-miss actions and clear feel for the pitch. He tossed five innings of one-run ball, striking out eight and walking none in a dominant performance by the right-hander.

Aggressively attacks the ball, uphill path, quick bat and creates natural lift throughout. Occasional hard contact and exit velocity topping 89 mph off a tee. Defensively popped 2.10-2.26 down to second. Gains ground to second, clean exchange, long arm out of a high slot. Throws topped 77 mph down. Ran a 7.34 laser timed 60. On the mound, rocker step delivery, tall and fall style, works in line and lands square to home. Long, loose arm action with a high slot, some rhythm throughout. Fastball had slight run, in the zone, sat 77-78 mph. Slider, 11/5 shape, flashed depth, 70-73 mph. Changeup maintained arm speed, faded at 73-76 mph.

Defensively, pop times ranged 2.00-2.12. Steady hands, gains ground and follows through. Short and high arm action out of a high slot, throws topped 76 mph from the crouch. 7.17 runner in the 60.
