USC-Upstate commit; ranked No. 48 in the Illinois’ 2021 class. One of the top first baseman’s in the state. 6-foot-2, 205-pound, physical, wide-shouldered, left-handed hitter. Hit in the four-hole and played first base. Presence and confidence in the box. Has an above-average approach. Stays within himself, uses the whole field and understands the zone. Loose, strong hands, present bat speed and flashes pull-side power. Finished 2-for-4 with two singles; one over the shortstops head and the other a hard-hit ground ball right back up the middle. Defensively, made multiple impressive plays at first base. Soft hands, ability to handle balls in the dirt with ease. Feel around the bag and has a well-above average arm that showed carry and life during pre-game infield.

Hit: LHH. Wide quiet setup, smooth load and leg-lift timing trigger. Loose, athletic, strong hands, present bat speed, natural lift in swing, stays on plane, extension through contact, fluid rhythm throughout and consistent hard gap-to-gap contact.
Power: 99 mph exit velocity from the tee. Present pull-side power.
Arm: LH. INF - 85 mph. Clean arm action, 3/4 slot and throws carry across the diamond.
Defense: Feel for the first base bag, steady hands, clean release.
Run: 7.33 runner in the 60.
Positional Profile: 1B/LHP High-follow two-way prospect.
Body: 6-foot-2, 205-pounds. Wide-shouldered, physical, strong frame.
Hit: LHH. Balanced, wide setup, smooth load, short stride and confident look in the box. Advanced bat speed, extension through contact, natural lift, consistently on time and on the barrel. Gap-to-gap approach.
Power: 93 mph exit velocity from the tee. Middle of the order bat with power potential.
Arm: LH. INF - 84 mph. Short, loose, quick arm works out of a high 3/4 slot. Throws were accurate and carried across the diamond.

Defensively, reliable hands, clean exchange, short arm action, high ¾ slot and throws clocked at 81 mph across the diamond. 7.77 runner in the 60.
10.22.17 - 6-foot-2, 213-pound left/left first baseman, large build, carries strength for age. Slight open stance, reverse toe tap stride, lower half collapses at times. Strong swing, creates hard contact, path is level and gets extension, bat speed present. 92 mph exit velocity from the tee. Savvy defender around first base, showed easy actions and feel for the bag, soft hands. Arm played loose and athletic when on the move, flashed carry, 79 mph across the diamond. 7.87 runner in the 60.
