Foley entered the tournament as an intriguing bat to follow, and showed well throughout the day on Friday for Athletes HQ. His performance was highlighted by a triple down the right field line. Standing at 6-foot-1, 195-pounds, Foley utilized an opposite field approach in this one, allowing the ball to travel as he squared it up for both of his hits, including the aforementioned triple. Despite not catching, Foley has previously showcased a live arm and quick feet behind the plate, ranging his pop times between 2.01-2.12 seconds at the McHenry Preseason ID. The incoming junior will be in attendance for the Illinois State Games between August 8th-9th.
