Open stance, strides to square, stays connected, short to contact, quick hands to baseball, shows bat speed with flashes of pop, gap to gap approach, 89 mph exit velocity. Plays with energy, stays on balls of feet, active defender, sound hands, good direction through baseball, slight hitch in arm action, accurate to bag, 83 mph arm strength across diamond. On mound; good rhythm and tempo, some herk and jerk creating deception, clean out front and works on downhill plane. Fastball was straight at 81-83 mph; consistently thrown for strikes. Showed above avg. breaking ball out of the strength with small break and tight rotation. Heavy downward action on changeup.

8/1/16- 6-foot-1, 175-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. Loose athletic delivery, hitch at balance point, long clean arm action, drives fastball downhill with good hand speed. Fastball was 79-81 mph for strikes. Tends to slow arm on secondary pitches. Curveball has solid shape; thrown at 65-66 mph and changeup was in zone for strikes at 70-72 mph. 7.18 runner. Balanced swing, short to contact with quiet head, stays through at contact, consistent solid contact, gap to gap approach, occasional pop in bat, 80 mph exit velocity. Solid footwork, soft glove, clean arm action, some actions, accurate arm across, 81 mph arm across infield.

8/4/15- 6-foot, 160-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.4 runner. Square stance with in-line stride. Good balance. Level to uphill swing plane with lift. Quiet head. Consistent solid contact with line drives. Uses whole field. 75 mph exit velocity. Solid feet and hands. Average quickness. Funnels baseballs into body at times. Long arm action with accuracy across diamond. 76 mph arm strength. Simple mechanics with rhythm and tempo. Some crouch and shoulder tilt in balance point. Good direction to plate with clean arm action and solid extension out front. Fastball had good life with slight ASR at 75-77 mph. Breaking ball had sharp 12/6 break with above avg. depth. Changeup showed heavy ASR with plus depth and thrown with good arm speed.
