6-foot-1, 230-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 4.90 home-to-first time. Large frame with well above avg. strength, controlled load, clean path, stays relatively short to contact, above avg. pop in bat, shows ability to use whole field, 90 mph exit velocity. Active in field, has soft hands, above avg. arm for position, shows short range quickness, confident receiver around bag with ability to pick balls at first, 78 mph arm across infield. On mound; controlled to balance point, good sequence and rhythm in delivery, compact arm action, hides ball from hitter, and fastball plays up some. Fastball was 79-82 mph for strikes, solid extension out front, with varying action to plate. Cutter/slider has tighter spin with inconsistent shape. Solid arm speed on changeup; works bottom of zone well with flashes of above avg. run and sink.
