Since moving into the leadoff role for the Titans, the Georgia Tech commit has been finding barrels at a rapid pace. Bass does a great job of getting his front foot down quickly backed by present bat speed to get the barrel head extended on-time. Consistently shows the ability to match plane well with good leverage at contact. Good proportional strength in the 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame that Bass incorporates well while unloading on an absolute no-doubt shot to LCF that smacked halfway up the light pole. Above-average arm in the outfield with good range and ability to cover ground quickly from a long stride that bodes well for an above-average ceiling in a corner outfield role.
Bass is a twitchy 6-foot-2, 170-pounds. He posted the fourth fastest 60 overall and second fastest in for his class at 6.88. He then went out and put up the top overall velocity from the outfield at 90. The tools are noteworthy, and make Bass a name to watch moving forward.
