The Thomas university commit is the defensive leader for this Lowndes ballclub and shows real potential to be an above-average defender at the next level in a strong 5-foot-11, 200-pound frame. Flexibility in and out of the crouch with ease while showing excellent receiving and framing to steal strikes at will. 2.11 pop in-game to gun a runner at 2nd, and has 19+ caught stealing each of the last two years. Slaughter can swing it as well, showing a simple and compact swing with impressive hands and a line-drive approach that finds both gaps with ease. Picked up four hits on the day, including a 3-for-3, 2 RBI effort in game two.
