Wallace State CC recruit. 6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed pitcher and shortstop, proportional frame, athletic build, lean strength throughout. Loose, live arm, works mostly from a low ¾ slot, will drop or rise at-times to create deception. Fastball sat 86-89, touched 80, heavy run action, used to both sides of the plate, lots of weak contact and swing and misses on, spin rates in the 1500-1600. Changeup, 77-80, heavy sink and fade, good feel, swing and miss pitch, 1100-1200 spin rate. Curveball, 70-72, shape varied between 10/4 and sweeping, dropped slot to sweep. Consistently throws all three pitches for strikes, highly competitive, lively stuff.

6-feet, 165 pounds. Second weekend in a row that Heer took the mound at LakePoint. Consistent with prior weekend, FB sitting 84-86, T87. Maintained velocity into the 6th inning. Used changeup to set pace and keep hitters off-balanced at 75-77. Showed similar action with off-the-table stuff and very impressive deception out of the hand.

6-foot, 165 pounds with a lean build that will only add strength and size.. Started on the mound against Tattnall Square and showed a very impressive arsenal of pitches. Works from an up-tempo delivery. High front-side and full arm action that comes from a ¾ slot. Body works in sync. Fastball carried well throughout outing, sitting 84-87, topping out at 88. Still developing a feel for slider at 73-75. Had one of the top secondary pitches on the weekend in changeup. Turns the ball over from the ¾ release, generating significant side-spin. Ball dropped off table with heavy sink and run at 76-78. Showed extreme feel for the pitch. Impressive arm to follow.
