The Rice commit has been one of the most consistent bats for this Blessed Trinity ballclub over the last few years, and has been a big factor to their success so far this spring. Very hitterish in the box from a quiet setup and simple actions that allows for Zito to stay well-balanced and on-time in a line-drive approach. Advanced feel for the zone with minimal chase shown and consistently spoiling good pitches in-zone. Defensive leader for the Titans at short with range and accurate arm that gets plenty of carry from multiple angles while demonstrating high baseball I.Q at all times. Hard not to love the high-floor with Zito, and will be a productive player at the collegiate level.

Uncommitted. 6-foot-2, 190 pounds. With this loaded roster of D1 bats, it's easy to miss one of their best hitters. This is one of the Titans most dependable players, and it’s because he is a net positive in all facets of the game. He’s an instinctive defender with smooth feet & hands, and has a strong arm with the ability to throw from all angles with ease. Zito also has the IQ to know when to use a certain arm angle, and is never in the wrong spot defensively. His simple, repeatable swing and skill to manipulate the barrel to any pitch location allow him to regularly produce big hits in game. He leads by example and will be a key factor for a deep BT playoff run.
