Positional Profile: 2B/SS A very interesting follow for this spring, summer. One of the more natural and athletic SS I've seen at our showcases and he does everything well. Body: 5-9, 145-pounds. High waist, lean muscled. Built like track athlete. Hits: RHH. One of the most athletic swings in the event. Medium base, good rhythm between hips and hands. Simple forward move that repeats launch position very well . Balanced hitter with good weight distribution at landing. Explosive knee to knee clearance in the lower half as he reaches contact. Short, direct inside-out path. Stays inside ball very well. Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 76.3 MPH. 300' max distance. Back spins line drives to right center consistently. No shortage of triples this spring. Arm: RH. INF-79 mph.Very clean, quick full circle arm action from 3/4 slot. Very fluid and natural with consistent carry and accuracy. Defense: Most natural SS actions in the event. Plays with low center of gravity, very quick laterally. Always works toward bag with subtle push thru ball. Smooth exchange and good feel to throw from all angles. Run: 6.94 runner in the 60. Long, gliding strides. Very controlled and effortless.
