Uncommitted. Wilkins, 6-1 188, made two appearances this weekend, one start and one relief appearance, within a 3 day span and was good for both outings. His stuff was nearly identical in both outings, 83-86 starting and 84-85 out of the pen; his offspeed stuff was nearly identical too with his breaking ball playing a tad higher out the pen, 67-71 CB and 74-75 change. He commanded his arsenal well in both outings and there is definite upside to Wilkins; he has arm speed, room to fill out in his frame and has shown an ability to pitch.

6-foot-1, 188-pound frame right-handed pitcher, wide-shoulders, strength throughout and will only put on more as he continues to mature. Long, slow draw, turns over quickly, getting out front to a ¾ slot. Works out of the strength only, stays tall in his delivery, short strider, works on-line, lands square in a powerful position, finishes upright with some arm recoil. Fastball sat 82-84, cut to the glove-side, ran to the arm-side. Curveball, 11/5 shape, 66-67, aggressive with, depth, some sharpness, dived out of the zone when located arm-side. Changeup, mostly straight, flashed sink when low in the zone, 74-75. Struck out one batter and induced an inning ending double play in his appearance.

6-foot-1, 195 pounds; strong, athletic body. Strong lower-half that he uses to drive down the mound. Worked at a good pace. Heavy FB that induced weak contact at 81-83,T84 on second appearance of the weekend. CB: 70-73. Had two quality appearances on the mound, challenged hitters and spotted up. Quality arm.
