A bit under-the-radar, Miller could have the best pure hit tool on the loaded Cartersville roster. The Columbus State commit is seemingly always on the barrel from the left-side. Using a moderate leg kick trigger, Miller does a good job staying in his back hip while creating good hip-to-shoulder separation. Will use the gaps well where the sneaky above-average foot speed plays up. Strong defender across the outfield that can play a capable CF if needed with an above-average glove in either corner. Will be a fun one to watch and follow over the next few years with the Cougars.

Columbus State Commit. Miller has been strong out of the leadoff spot for Cartersville this year. Tuesday night Miller served as the spark for the Hurricanes as he led off the 5th with a triple which eventually turned into a big inning and put Cartersville back out in front. Miller has a smooth left handed stroke where he is really good to the pull side. Luke is a very good base runner where he is always looking to take the extra base.
5/30/23
Uncommitted. 6-foot, 170 pounds. (107th overall in GA, 23rd at his position). Medium frame with lean muscle. Athletic stance with a smooth LH swing. Has good pop to the pull side. Nice load and extension to barrel the ball with consistent, hard contact. Simple approach at the plate with a gap-to-gap approach. Good speed for size and can fly around the bases. Defensively, Miller takes good routes to the ball and fields balls in stride.
