Uncommitted. Underhill has been a guy who just hits when eyes are on him. Offensively he has a short compact stroke and stays through the baseball at the point of contact and through the hitting zone. Defensively he plays multiple positions well and could man multiple positions as a true UTY type player who hits left handed for someone at the next level.
6-foot-1, 170 pounds; strong, athletic left-handed hitter. Had multiple great at-bats over the weekend. Hits from an athletic stance with short hands tempo; rotational load that gets set early. Quick hands in the box with ability to turn around velocity. Smooth swing and does a good job staying inside baseball. Good athlete to keep an eye on.
6-1,170. The physical LHH outfielder showed off good wheels on the day clocking in at 4.1 down the line. He hit at the top of the lineup and showed off some quick twitch tendencies at the plate. The hands were quick and the bat had some whip in the swing. He showed off good strike zone awareness as well finding barrel on the day multiple times and drawing free passes.
