Georgia commit. 5-foot-10, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher, strong, sturdy frame, powerful build. Confident hitter, has a presence in the box. Keeps it simple, hands start back and deepen on load, short stride, great balance. Swing works uphill through the zone, looking to elevate and drive, creates leverage, strong hands, gap-to-gap approach, power to all fields. Clutch performer, raises his game when the lights are the brightest. Hit a big three run home run against North Paulding to give Carrollton an 8-4 lead late in the game.
Georgia commit. 5-foot-10, 170-pound right-handed hitting primary catcher, was slotted in the DH role vs. Hebron Christian. Strong, sturdy frame, advanced strength in lower half and core. Swing works short to the zone as he drops his hands on load to just above his waist, swing path has some incline to it, allowing for him to use his strength to elevate and drive pitches gap-to-gap, power to the pull-side, back spins fly balls. Had an RBI triple that looked like just a routine fly ball to left center, but it just kept carrying and carrying all the way to the warning track, an example of the power his bat holds and how a mishit ball can be driven a long way.
Georgia commit. 5-foot-10 175-pounds right-handed hitter. Avg frame with more strength through the core and quads. Avg runner. Strong accurate arm with quick release, confident ball blocker. Offensively, this guy can bang. Big time clutch abilities, he works the stride down easy, barely picks it up. then quick hips to hands extremely short direct hand path he uses to hammer hard line drives gap to gap. Tough behind the plate even tougher at the plate this guy brings clutch abilities any time he steps on the ball field. UGA is getting a good one if the draft doesn’t get him first.
