Georgia State commit. Morrish just hits. Coming off a huge spring for Woodstock, the incoming senior carried over his torrid pace from the spring into the first day of the 17u National Championship on both sides of the ball. At the plate Morrish collected three hits on the day.The hit tool shined on Wednesday evening as Morrish showed an advanced ability to match plane with an innate feel for the barrel. The RHH showed a mature all-fields approach at the plate coupled with quiet confidence in the box. On the defensive side Morrish put on a clinic behind the dish in all facets. The athleticism jumped off the page as the athletic backstop blocked up balls in the dirt with ease all game long.
