5-foot-10, 215-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and left-handed pitcher, thick, strong build, carries strength throughout frame. Offensively keeps things simple, balanced setup, leg kick timing trigger, does not gain ground with, barrel is upright as hands load back short, good balance through contact. Barrel works mostly level through the zone creating line drive contact, peppered right field during batting practice, 83 exit velocity off a tee. Went 1-for-2 with a single in game play. Defensively, short arm action to a high ¾ slot, 73 across the infield. Has feel around the bag, moves with some fluidity, clean on exchanges, has a tendency to pack the ball. Ran an 8.14 laser-timed 60. On the mound, reaches all the way back with arm, keeps the swing of it short on the back-side, over-the-top slot, creates angles. Drop and drive delivery, works on-line, lands square, finishes crossing over. Fastball sat 77-78, mostly straight. Slider, 1/7 shape, depth. Changeup, fade action, 72-73.
