Lewis had the most eye-opening look that I’ve had in my first spring in Georgia, and it's not particularly close. Physical specimen at 6-foot-1, 210-pounds with massive strength throughout the frame. A left-handed hitter with a slight bat wiggle timing mechanism in a compact swing backed by present above-average bat speed. There's an impressive feel for the barrel with ability to show monster impact to all-fields, as shown by the five barrels generated on the day, three going off the LCF wall. The power potential overall has a chance to be an easy carrying tool long term. Lewis also presents an advanced approach at the plate with zero chase on the day and finding two hard-hit doubles in two-strike counts. It's a well-rounded profile at the plate that is making positive strides at a rapid pace. Lewis is also a three-star linebacker for Lowndes with 4.6 speed and is coming off a 110+ tackle season. A freaky athlete overall has been a catalyst on yet another final four run for the Vikings, and can be a potential household name this upcoming summer.
