Uncommitted. Lofton is a left handed infielder that has shown an ability to hit and hit fairly often. Currently it is more hit tool than power out of the 5-10 200 pounder but there is power that he will tap in to as he firms his frame up and adds strength. He has barreled multiple baseballs in the 88+ EV range throughout the summer and looks like a bat that could potentially be a very solid offensive player down the road. Defensively he makes the plays in front of him better than expected and has shown the ability to make the routine plays.
The 6-foot, 210-pound left-handed hitting corner infielder sports a physical frame with strength throughout. He showed good bat speed in the zone and the ability to hit for power from gap-to-gap.
