LP Challenge
Stanford commit. Pancer showed easy velocity early sitting 88-91 and showing arm speed to go along with it. On top of the fastball he rounded out his arsenal with a 77-81 slider that he used to both throw strikes and for potential s/m pitches to get K’s. He attacked all outing long and was around the zone with both pitches; he also mixed in a change a few times but it was not his go to off speed in this outing. He has room to fill out and combine that with his arm speed there could be another jump in store for Pancer with his stuff as he matures.
After closing out the semifinal matchup, dominates and goes the distance in the championship game. Fastball sat 87-90, easy out of the hand, played mostly true. Mixed in a breaking ball at 70-72 and changeup at 75-76. 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame.
