5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, durable build with developing strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.22 60 yard dash. Offensively, balanced setup, short stride, barrel start flat on shoulder, loads hands back and cocks barrel to vertical in an athletic fashion, remains balanced. Line drive hitter, looks to square the ball back up the middle, 83 exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, short arm action from a high ¾ slot, kept throws on target, 80 mph from the outfield. Fields position with confidence, clean footwork and exchanges. During gameplay, showed good plate awareness, hitting behind the runner at first on a hit and run.
7/06/19
An athletic 5-foot-9, 165-pounds, strength throughout frame. Offensively, takes a balanced setup, wrist cock on load, short load, maintains good balance, keeps everything simple. Easy effort and strength in swing, takes a pull approach at the plate, early timing, 72 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.20 60. Defensively, plays through the ball with fluid footwork and exchanges, competent hands. Arm plays short to a high ¾ slot, 79 mph.
5/18/19
Standing at 5-foot-9, 170 pounds he is a stocky, strong athlete with room to grow. Ran a 7.2 60 yard dash, but could see that getting better. Defensively, the athleticism plays well in the outfield, where he showed overall sound actions. Topped out at 79 mph from the outfield. Really stood out more offensively, where his bat is by far the best tool. The swing and setup is very simple. The present strength plays and has above average bat speed. He showed a lot of potential as he was aggressive through the zone, especially to the pull side, with some pull side power. A follow that could make a jump and then making a bigger impact.
