4/28/16- Samford commit who stands at 6-foot, 165 pounds with a lean, athletic, and projectable body with some strength. In the field he has soft hands, good range, and plenty of arm strength to stay at short. He has a short, over the top arm action that is ideal for getting rid of the ball quickly up the middle. At the plate he is relaxed, gets a separation for his load, and has good balance throughout his swing. He has a short, quick swing and does not get beat in. He has a line drive approach and hits to all fields. He went 2-3 against Ellmyer and Armstrong, showing that he can square up quality pitching.
