05/20/17 - FAU recruit. Golda appears to have filled out with some solid muscle, especially in his upper half. He has broad, strong shoulders, but does not seem stiff. He still maintains his smooth and easy defensive actions with a plus glove and plenty of range and arm to stick at short. He ran a 6.92 60 yard dash time, but plays the game much quicker especially defensively. The added strength appears to have helped immensely offensively, where he showed the ability to drive the ball gap-to-gap. There is still some steepnees to the path, but he has a feel for the barrel and the added strength keeps the top hand strong through the one. The defense really plays up and the bat continues to progress. Should have a chance to be taken come this year's draft.
10/16/16- Florida Atlantic recruit. 5-foot-11, 184 pounder with a solid, athletic build. Displayed good hands, charges the ball, and a quick release while playing short and third base. The fact is, he can absolutely play defense. He has enough arms and advanced enough actions to stick at short, but shows the ability to be a plus defender anywhere in the infield. Offensively, the path through the zone is a little steep and he tends to get long during the game making it difficult to hit the higher end velocity. He shows the ability to have feel for the barrel and there is some present bat speed. He is athletic enough to make some adjustments and really make a big jump. The defense alone makes him very interesting. Couple that with the athleticism, hand eye coordination, and present bat speed will be interesting to watch over the next few months and how he continues to improve leading up to the draft.
05/28/16- Florida Atlantic commit. Showed extremely well this weekend both offensively and defensively. 6-foot, 170-pound frame. Very athletic and showed athletic actions at both middle infield spots, has very good range in both directions and showed soft hands. Worked well around the bag from both positions and seems comfortable at both. Right-handed hitter with a balanced set-up and rhythm. Worked the middle of the field with a short, quick swing making consistent hard contact.
3/30/16- Florida Atlantic commit who stands at 6-foot, 175 pounds with an athletic, strong, and projectable body with quick twitch actions. He is one of the top shortstop prospects in the state as he shows off very quick, yet soft hands, a quick transfer, great range, and a plus arm. At the plate he has good rhythm, gets a separation for his load, and has a leg kick for his stride. Nice swing plane and he stays inside the ball. He has good bat speed, the ball jumps off his bat, and he has a line drive approach.
3/9/16- 6-foot, 175-pound FAU recruit with a live, athletic body. Showed soft hands, quick feet, and good actions in the field. Can pick it. Made a couple of tough plays in the field including a backhand grab deep in the hole along with a strong and accurate arm. Plus range and charges the ball well. Showed off some good bat speed at the plate with the ability to make solid contact and hit the ball to all parts of the field. Aggressive on the base paths.
10/29/15 - Loose lean live athletic projectable body. Plus defender with very good actions. Soft quick hands with enough arm to stay at SS. Good reads and first step quickness. Plus range. Very advanced young defender. Short quick stroke with the bat. Good hand eye. Contact type hitter that uses whole field. Lacks strength right now but plenty of quickness in the bat. Some power will come as he physically matures. Could become a good 2017 draft.
