5/24/15 - Tall lean athletic projectable body with a loose easy working arm and a good delivery from a high ¾ slot. FB was 86-88 with tail and some tilt. SL was a short tight downer at 79-81 and flashed an avg ML pitch. Good feel for the CHG at 76-80. Has a lot of upside. Stuff will improve with physical maturity. Could be a draft.

2/19/15 - Florida Atlantic commit. 6-foot-3, 200 pound lefty with a lean, but strong and projectable body with a mostly sound delivery. Arm action is quick, but short.  Pitches to contact with an 87-88 mph fastball that touches 90 mph and gets a lot of ground balls. First inning of the year was only 6 pitches, then followed up with 2 more quick frames (3 IP, 1 H, 0 BB, 4 SO on 2/3).  Natural feel for a usable, frequently plus change up that shows cut, sink, and deception. Tight, mostly-downer curveball is frequently avg and flashes late bite.  The short arm action does detract, but the stuff comes out, and the fastball velocity is on the rise (84-87 in he fall).  Mack is an athletic, aggressive, no-frills, strike-thrower with pitches and projection. Tonight. 5 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 1 BB, 7 K’s.
