2/2/16 - Good infield actions with soft quick hands and a solid avg ML arm. Has strength and ability in the bat. Knows how to play the game. Is a gamer. Will definitely play at the college level.
2/18/15 - 6-foot, 180 pound short stop who is a solid defender w/soft hands and an above avg ML arm. Makes the plays and gets rid of the ball for firm, accurate throws. Must see more of bat, but the glove alone gives him the ability to play at the next level.
12/7/14 SF Elite tryout - Athletic strong body with good actions in field and an above avg ML arm. Had quickness and some strength in bat. Limited range in the field. Ran a 7.2, 60. May end up at 3B or catcher when the body is done growing.
8/1/19: Athletic infielder with exceptional body control. Above average defender with an above average arm. Showed average raw power to his pull side. Spins off the ball, bat head is in/out of the zone quickly. Struck out 30 times in 106 plate appearances this summer while hitting .222 overall with six doubles. (Seifert)
8/1/18: Strong, mature bodied infielder with surprising quickness for his body type. Showed good body control on slow rollers at second base and an average arm. Good bat speed at the plate. Will pull off the ball causing the bat to be in/out of the zone. Needs to make an adjustment with his swing path, but overall Arenas showed well in all areas. He was also 87-89 mph in a brief, one batter appearance on the bump. (Seifert)
