10/24/17- The Miami recruit showcased a solid all-around game throughout the tournament. He bounces around in centerfield, and has the ability to go and get balls with his above average speed and sure hands. He takes crisp routes and is dependable to make plays. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has a quiet approach, and he looks for his pitch with strong strike zone awareness. His barrel lags in the zone after his quick hands work towards the ball, and he features a loose finish. Lala collected two hits on the day including a long double.

05/20/17- Miami recruit. He is a 5-foot-10, 175-pound athletic outfielder who is high waisted with long legs and looks like he will still grow a few inches and has plenty of room to fill out.  6.83 runner, and he looks even faster than that.  Showed a quality presence in the outfield.  Ranged side to side with twitchy steps, and confident ball skills.  Looked like the poster child for how to go through an outfield workout.  Quick release with a strong arm that was accurate and had carry.  Will be able to play centerfield.  At the plate he hit from a balanced stance, slightly more the shoulder width, with a small stride that kept his lower half balenced and engaged. He has loose hands with a lot of whip through the zone with easy above average bat speed. He shows gap-to-gap power and shows the ability to be an above average hitter all around. He has a ton of room to grow and as he does the good gate, projectable frame and easy actions projects him to make big jumps across the board.

4/5/16- Miami commit who stands at 5-foot-10, 170 pounds with a lean and athletic frame with wiry strength. Lala has loose, easy actions and good instincts all over the field. At the plate he is upright, relaxed, gets a separation for his load, and has a nice swing plane with an easy stroke. Good hitters’ hands as he can really manipulate the barrel and drive pitches to all fields. The ball really jumps off his bat for his size and he is an above average runner who gets good jumps on the base paths and in the outfield.

2/6/16- Committed to Miami.

10/10/15- Wiry, athletic, and lean frame. Short, quick swing with a nice bat plane through the zone. Hard line drive and ground ball approach. Loose strides and looks like at least an above average runner.
