5-foot-8, 170-pound lean physical build. Solid at the plate, Herrera jr clocked an exit velocity of 84 mph. (63.04 mph bat speed average). (20.51 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced wide stance with a compact arm bar load, then uses a quick short stride. Bat speed is quick efficient, uses a long level swing plane and level good extension on his finish. He produced loud contact and found some barrels. Line drive aggressive approach. Confident fluid in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 82 mph; showed a clean fluid exchange, sure consistent hands, and fluid rhythmic feet. Laterally, movements were average and fielded the ball to the side. Used a high ¾ slot with a quick compact arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Solid confident on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a longer consistent arm action while showing good consistent arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows decent effort. Displays in line uphill shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 80-82 mph; had arm side command and running action.
