02/23/16- 5-foot-11, 195-pound Coastal Carolina recruit with a live, athletic body. Moves well behind the plate and gives up his body to block balls in the dirt. Shows good footwork and delivered on line and accurate throws to 2B with a 1.90-1.93 second pop time range. Release point right at the ear. At the plate showed the ability to square it up with a good bat path. Balanced in the box. Shows leadership qualities, instincts, and competes.

01/18/16- 5-foot-11, 180-pound Coastal Carolina recruit. Athletic build. Behind the plate showed good footwork and quick release which resulted in a 1.89-1.95 second pop time range. During batting practice, Sheppard showed extension and quick hands with the ability to square up the ball. Good load and follow through.

12/7/15- Committed to Coastal Carolina

7/13/15-Uncommitted incoming junior. 5-foot-10 175 pounds with a lean and compact body with strength. He has a quick transfer and short, over the top arm action. Plenty of arm to catch at the next level and throw from multiple arm angles. Moves well and is an aggressive player. 1.95 pop time. At the plate he is slightly open, gets a good separation, and his hands come down with his load. He has a short, quick swing and consistently squares up balls. Line drives approach and the ball jumps off his bat.
