06/03/18- Uncommitted. Tall, projectable frame standing at 6-foot-3, 175 pounds. Arm works from the left side where he displayed a fastball that mostly sat 80-82 mph, touching 83 multiple times along with a 70-71 mph curveball that showed shape when he got on top of it. Struggled with some command early on but settled in and threw strikes, working the corners of the plate. Projectable lefty who should see some jumps in velocity as he adds to his frame.
11/05/17- At 6-foot-4, 175 pounds, the frame alone makes him one of the more intriguing arms to throw initially. The arm works well from a true 3/4 slot. He is rotational at times and could see benefits working down the mound to extension. The fastball works 78-80 with some arm side life. Also shows a 74 mph changeup and a 67 mph curveball. The projection and arm action make him a high follow.
