5/28/16- Florida International commit who stands at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds with a strong, thick, physical, and durable frame. He is currently ranked 35^th in Florida. He has good mound presence as with confidence. He has a stiffer delivery and arm action but he has a consistent release point and sat 89-91 mph at FACA with a hard, sharp 80-81 mph slider. Don’t be surprised if James is picked up in next week’s draft.

2/16/16- The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Florida International commit had some trouble finding the zone early on against Sarasota. Even though this was the case, he still sat 87-90 mph with his fastball and 76-79 mph with his curveball. His curveball was still plus and very difficult to touch. He had 4 IP, 3 Ks, and 3 ER.

2/2/16- Physical, strong, and durable frame. Everything stayed in line, he repeated his delivery, and he showed a H 3/4 arm slot. Good confidence and presence on the mound. Sat 88-91 mph with a plus 75-78 mph CB.

2/3/15 - Uncommitted Junior. 6-foot-4, 210 pound right hander with a tall lean projectable body. Short in back with some arm speed. Effort in delivery. Lands across his body. FB has sink with some tilt at 85-86 mph. CV has good ¾ rotation at 72-74 mph. Occasionally goes around it but throws it for strikes.
