Confident capable on the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a side arm angle and a short compact arm action. Drop-and-drive up-tempo type pitcher who shows decent effort. Has a low balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 79-80 mph; has tailing action and arm side command. (Max spin 1967; Avg 1961).
