Pitchability stands out for Holiday, advanced feel for 3 pitch mix. CH showed above average for s/m, w/ sharp breaker at times. FB: 89-91 CB: 77-78 CH: 80-81
Cape Cod: Undersized at 5-foot-10 but has a fast arm. His uptempo delivery features a high-effort motion, a high kick (can mix in shorter leg lift), and he repeats well. His 90-92 fastball (2100-2280 rpm), has good giddy-up to the arm side, and his 81-83 (1570 rpm) changeup is flat with some armside drift, some deception off the fastball. His 76-78 (2400 rpm) curveball has sharp 12/6 downer action, power break, very good as bury pitch when ahead. It’s strikeout stuff, but his fastball can stay on plane too long, can be hittable. It’s a quality mix but a pure relief profile.
