5/28/16- Broward College commit who stands at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds with a lean and athletic body with strength and natural actions all over the field. He is ranked 83^rd in Florida. He had a strong showing at FACA as he ran a 6.72 in the 60, showed advanced arm strength with accuracy from center field, and drove the ball well in batting practice and hit a deep double (opposite field) in the game. He continues to prove that he can square up quality pitching with wood. He is a high-energy player who plays with some flare and has a lot of fun. Don’t be surprised if Carballo is a late draft, but expect him to have an excellent college career.

4/27/16- Broward College recruit, currently ranked No. 83 in Florida’s 2016 class, No. 320 overall. Live, athletic 5-foot-11, 185-pound body. At the plate he is relaxed and quiet in the box with a slightly open stance, bends his knees inward. Rests his bat on his shoulder and gets a good separation for his load with a leg kick. Displayed some quick hands and the ability to drive the ball to all parts of the field with good hand-eye. Showed good plate discipline and works the counts. Gets out of the box quickly from the left hand side and runs the bases well, makes good turns. In the outfield Carballo takes good routes to the ball and makes accurate throws with carry. Plays the game hard.

3/31/16 - Broward Community College recruit. 5-foot-11, 185 pound outfielder with a loose lean live athletic body. Loose quick bat with a flat bat path through the zone. Stays inside the ball well and has some loft in his swing. Good bat speed. Power will come with physical maturity. Athletic outfield actions with plenty of arm. Throws have good carry. Tracks ball well. Good reads and routes. Quick release. Hustles on the bases. Plays with energy. 2-4 with 2 doubles. Short hopped the center field wall.

1/15/16- Committed to Broward College.

10/6/15- Lean, strong, and athletic frame. Upright at the plate, has a leg kick and gains a lot of ground in his stride. Gets a separation and hand hitch for his load that gives him extra whip in his swing. Plus bat speed and uses his lower half well. Smooth stroke that has a slight uppercut plane. Very good power, especially for his size. Average arm from the outfield. Above avg runner. Could be 2016 draft.

3/17/15 - 5-foot-11, 182 pound outfielder with a medium, athletic body with baseball actions and a good left handed swing. I like the way he does things.  D1 guy, perhaps a draft.

3/9/15 - 5-foot-11, 185 pound outfielder with a medium sized, strong body and smooth left handed swing. Handles himself well and with instincts in center field, though not a burner.  Is a gamer type guy with a chance to hit.

12/7/14 SF Elite tryout - Live athletic body. Short quick stroke with quickness in hands. Has a good plane with some power now and more to come. Good instincts in OF with enough arm. Ran a 6.75, 60.
