Matt Williams: SS/2B, (2028) Lewis Mills, CT. 130-pound athletic proportional build. Raw in the box, Williams had a max exit velocity of 81 mph. (60.4 mph bat speed average). (20.7 mph hand speed average). Started in a wide open stance with a handsy active load, then used a toe tap stride. Bat speed was above average, had a loose level swing plane and good extension on his finish. In the round he found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Pull side approach. Above average in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 68 mph; has athletic quick feet, soft next level hands, and a twitchy exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a short arm action and a high ¾ slot.
