Desmond Kady: SS/RHP, (2027) Fairfield College Preparatory, CT. 5-foot-6, 132-pound athletic proportional frame. Solid in the box, the hitter's best exit velocity was 74 mph. (57.3 mph bat speed average). (17.1 mph hand speed average). Starts in an athletic balanced stance with a high load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is average, displays a loose upward swing plane and high finish. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Up the middle approach. Projectable solid in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 67 mph; has soft hands, a quick exchange, and smooth feet. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front. Showed a loose arm action and a ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. Clocked a time of 9.0 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable on the mound, using a loose arm action he showed some arm speed from a ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall stretch only type pitcher and shows easy effort. Has an athletic balance point and downhill in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Threw his fastball 66-68 mph; has sinking action and command down in the zone. (Max spin 1829; Avg 1741). Showed slurvey action and glove side command on his 1/7 curveball (60-62). (Max spin 1831; Avg 1747). Had fading action and arm side command on his changeup (60-62).
