Began in a tall open stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, exhibits a loose upward swing plane and high finish. He found some barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap line drive approach. While catching, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 70 mph; showed a developing transfer, smooth feet, and soft hands. Some flexibility and athletic setup. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot with a longer arm action. Recorded a time of 7.75 in the 60-yard dash.
