Zach Frigo: C/1B, (2026) Notre Dame West Haven, CT. 5-foot-10, 200-pound athletic solid build. Solid in the box, Frigo recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. (60.5 mph bat speed average). (16.8 mph hand speed average). Begins in an open tall stance with a high load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed was quick, showed an upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Was able to create some loud contact and found some barrels. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 60 mph; has developing feet, a natural transfer, and soft hands. he had a pop time of 2.53-2.59. Some flexibility and wide setup. Used a short arm action and an-over-the-top slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Projectable on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action while showing developing arm speed. Stretch only up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Balance point is tall with downhill shoulders during delivery. Lands hard with an athletic recoil finish. Sat with his fastball at 60-63 mph; showed sinking action and command down in the zone.
