5-foot-9, 170-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 7.28 sixty on the laser at the event. The glove and actions in the middle of the field are flashy and quick. He is a good defender and plays defense with confidence. Threw 84 mph across the diamond with accuracy and ease. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 88 mph. The swing has a lot of action, even in base, knee to knee timing on the bottom half. The bat has wiggle to it, ala Gary Sheffield. The path is long cause there is hand drop to initiate the swing. The path is long and strong, 1-hand finish after contact.

Future Games
5-foot-9, 160-pound, average athletic frame, shows to have wiry strength, shoulders are sloped, has room to fill out and add mass on. A right-handed hitter, showed the ability to play all over the field at the future games. Projects more as a second baseman, or left fielder, can hold his own at both corners in infield as well. The top tool is his ability to swing the bat. The stance is spread out, sits in a small crouch, hands are loose with pre pitch movement to them. The swing is level to up, barrel has life out front on contact, gets and stays through the baseball, finishes with one hand. The approach is more to the middle to pull side, showed the ability to get the baseball deep in the alley in batting practice rounds. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 87 mph and ran a 7.43 sixty yard dash. In game performance was good, collected one hit, but showed very good strike zone discipline, battled hard. Defensively, hands are soft at third base, arm was clocked at 83 mph, has whip like action to it, showed to have carry on throws. Moved well to glove side, good actions starting the 5-4-3 double play. Saw action at first as well, feet worked smooth around the bag, quick feet and actions on starts to second. Good follow, will be valuable for someone.

5-foot-8-155 pound sophomore with a projectable body capable of adding upper body strength without losing much of his present athleticism. While listed as either middle infield position, his future is likely at second base. Defensively, the arm is average for a high schooler as a sophomore with the potential for further development. The actions are smooth often accompanied with a very quick first step. Fluid lateral movements that make up for middling straight line speed. At the plate, Caccavale has a unique swing with a lot of moving pieces. It features a high leg kick, lots of wiggle in the bat pre-pitch, but loose wrists that drive the barrel to accelerate through the zone. Made hard contact during batting practice and in game. The wrist strength and forceful acceleration could match elite velocity or possible force a mechanical adjustment, time will tell. The general package is promising with additional room for improvement, someone to keep an eye on for East Catholic in the coming seasons.

5-foot-8, 155-pound, average athletic frame, hands and wrists have strength to them. A right-handed hitter, the hands are good at the plate, can maneuver the barrel. The stance is slightly open gets back to even with stride foot. The hands are loose, set lower than shoulder height, they have some pre pitch movement to them. For timing, has a higher, smooth leg kick, gains ground with it. The swing path is level to up, barrel stays in the zone, finishes high with one hand. The approach is more middle to pull, has gap juice to the pull side. The swing creates length and leverage to it, barrel has life to it. Defensively, showed to have soft hands, moves well to both sides. More of a second baseman, had carry and life to throws from the left side. The arm was clocked at 76 mph. Works from the ground up, feet move well throughout during clean transfer, gets glove to throwing hand quickly. The double play feeds and turns from second base were clean had rhythm to them, showed good flow. Strength is a must, solid follow, plays the game hard and the correct way.

5-foot-7, 148-pound, average athletic frame, hands and wrists have strength to them, has plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitter, has a gap to gap approach, can handle the bat, sprays it all over. The hands are set low, has a leg kick for timing and the path is flat through the zone. Swing has easy effort in it, ball jumps out the bat. The tee exit velocity was 81 mph and ran a 4.6 from home to first, has more in his legs. In game performance was very good, collected a ringing triple and single. Defensively plays third, hands are soft, has a good feel for fielding the ball through the transfer to the throw, keeps his feet moving the entire time. The arm is loose, ball comes out well with easy effort, shows above average carry on throws. The arm was clocked at 76 mph. Good looking player, strength is a must, comes from two good programs, will be prepared.
2/15/16 Right-handed hitting infielder with soft hands, a clean arm and the proper footwork to the ball. The slot works fine for his throwing as he threw 71 mph across the diamond. Showed average foot speed with an easy gait. The swing has serious buggy whip to it, his hands are really fast. The tee exit velocity was 76 mph but with physical strength, that will increase easily. He sets up with his feet close and he accelerates the barrel to the ball. The approach is pull but he can flatten it out and spread the field as he ages. It's hard to teach fast hands.
