5-foot-9, 180-pound, strong, thick athletic frame, well proportioned throughout, shoulders are squared off, hands and wrists have strength to them. A left-handed hitter, has a spread out approach, running speed is an above average tool for him. The feet are even, hands are set at shoulder height, bat is flat, the swing path is level to up, has more of a pull approach, swing creates some lift to it. For timing uses a leg kick, gains ground with stride, has separation with his hands. Showed to have average to above average pop to the pull side. Defensively, prep steps were good approaching the baseball in the outfield, steps through hard, gains ground with transfer. The stride is slightly short, throws get uphill at times. The arm action was longer, clean on the back, clocked at 70 mph. At first base, gets off the bag well, fields the ball out front, needs to stay low, wants to pop up, loses time getting the ball to second. The arm action was a little shorter at first, clocked at 70 mph. Projects for me as more of an outfielder, the arm action better suits him for outfield, with his ability to run a little, will be able to track them down.
