The 30th ranked prospect in New England’s 2019 class, Paolini showed why at the plate on Saturday, doubling and homering in a losing effort. The lefty right fielder headed to Elon is a lean, projectable athlete. He has bat control, game power that should continue making gains, and feel for hitting to all fields (the home run was an opposite field line drive). Best served in an outfield corner. Elon is getting a good one.
