6-foot, 190-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder. He ran a 7.35 sixty at the event. The approach at the hot corner is appropriate as he works his feet through the baseball as he fields the baseball. The glove is reliable and he threw easily across the diamond at the event. The bat has an exit velocity of 92 mph as the hands are good. The setup is even in base and the front foot steps into the swing as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is long and strong to contact with the baseball.

5-foot-10, 180 pounds, thick, strong frame. Will need to improve conditioning as he climbs the high school development ladder. Ran a 9.34 sixty-yard dash. Neves profiles best at first base defensively, throwing from a high ¾ slot. The arm was clocked at 64 mph across the diamond from first. Shows promise with the footwork but needs to work with more purpose and intent. Offensively, Neves is even in the box with a slight hunch. The hands work from the letters. Gets solid hip rotation. Exit velocity was measured at 68 MPH off the tee. There is more power in the bat but needs to improve bat to ball skills for it to show up in games.
