6-foot-3, 172-pound, longer, lean athletic frame, put together well, with room for added strength gains. At the plate, open, more narrow stance, loose, relax hand set above the shoulders. Small knee to knee buckle with lower half, steps in slightly and stays on the baseball. The swing path is short down to the baseball and up through it. The approach is from gap to gap, with some pull pop. The exit velocity was clocked at 85 mph, potential to hit with some power. Defensively, showed a soft glove at first base, fields out front, clean drop steps. Worked well around the bag on all picks and glove work receiving the throws. The arm action is loose and clean, working from a 3/4 slot, clocked at 71 mph. Off the mound, delivery is super smooth, very good extension out front. The arm action is clean, working from a higher slot, look for a significant jump in velocity at some point. The fastball was clocked at 75 mph. Showed a very good top to bottom breaker at 68 mph. The spin is accurate, with correct shape and break to it. Projects out off the mound for me.
