Owen Pike: RHP/3B, (2025) Berlin, CT. 6-foot, 140-pound lean long frame. Projectable at the plate, Pike recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. (66.1 mph bat speed average). (19.9 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic tall stance with a handsy load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is quick, uses a short flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up some balls with loud contact. Pull side approach. Raw while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 77 mph; has soft hands, developing feet, and a clean exchange. Movements laterally were average and he fields the ball out front. Showed a high ¾ slot and a short quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 8.4. Above average projectable on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a long loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall feel type pitcher and shows easy effort. Has downhill shoulder with a strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 78-79 mph; had sinking action and arm side control. (Max spin 2186; Avg 2041). Has a 1/7 curveball (63-64) that shows glove side command and slurvey action. (Max spin 2242; Avg 2186). Had down in the zone control and swing and miss action on his 2/8 slider (65-66). (Max spin 2148; Avg 2142).
