6-foot-1, 165-pound, long, lean, athletic frame. The shoulders are squared off, back is wide, will be physical at some point, tremendous frame. A left-handed hitting infielder, is a big time sleeper in my opinion. At the plate, hands are loose, held higher and farther away from frame, slight adjustment moving them closer to body will help to be on time better. The feet are even and wider than shoulder width. The lower half is under control, smooth toe tap for timing, slight step in with lead foot. The swing is down to level to up, creating backspin to the baseball. The approach is from the middle of the field to the pull side. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 91 mph, showed to have enough pop to beat the outfielders. Time for sixty-yard dash was at 7.49 on a wet track. Defensively, feet are very good, good prep steps, move throughout during transfer to release. The hands are soft out front, quick transfer into throwing hand. The arm was clocked at 79 mph, works out of a natural slot, has enough strength to stick on the left side. The double play starts were correct, projects more for me as a third baseman long term. The ability to make slower roller play and with the way the body and actions work maybe better suited for the hot corner, someone is going to get a good one.
