At 5-foot-11, 190 pounds the frame is strong, back is wide and legs are put together well. The arm slot is high-¾, arm swing is a little longer on the back with some hook to it. The path for the most part is clean when it starts to come forward. His hands are set by his chin, easy leg raise, could stride out a little farther. The fastball was 71-74 threw strikes to both sides of the plate with it. The breaking pitch was 63-64, showed some depth to it. The changeup was in the mid 60’s. Times to the plate were 1.40-1.50. The delivery could be a bit quicker, may make the arm faster and velo could jump. Brenchak can swing the bat, he hits from the right side and shows solid pop to both gaps. Primary position is in OF, can handle the bat and with reps and more game experience the swing can play at the next level. He had a solid summer for Middletown American Legion.
A right-handed hitter, the stance has a wide base, hands are set below the shoulders. The swing is uphill a bit, hands are very strong. The tee exit velocity was 87 and ran a 4.91. Swung the bat well in the game, collected a double and made solid contact all day. In the outfield, the arm registered 75 on the gun. The routes were good and attacked the ball well. The footwork gets a little long, needs to stay inline and not pull so hard with frontside. Plays the game hard, some to follow in the near future.
